About Dr. Mike Nayak
Dr. Laxmeesh Mike Nayak is a highly distinguished facial plastic surgeon originally from Effingham, Illinois. A summa cum laude graduate of Yale University, he completed his medical degree at Washington University on a Distinguished Student Scholarship, earning multiple top academic honors. He trained in general surgery and head & neck surgery at Harvard Medical School hospitals, followed by an elite AAFPRS fellowship with the Glasgold Group.
Dr. Nayak earned the highest written exam scores in both the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery exams, ranking among the top performers nationally. He specializes in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation surgery, volumetric techniques, and advanced minimally invasive procedures. A dedicated educator and humanitarian, he travels annually to Hanoi, Vietnam, to provide surgical care and training. He performs most procedures in his AAAHC-accredited, state-of-the-art facility and remains active in research and national teaching.
